BFP or BFN? Confused

Has anyone been 4 days or more late and still got a BFN? And if so were you actually pregnant?

I'm 2 days late. I'm VERY regular, have never been late before. Took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Felt what Google has described as implantation cramps when I was 7DPO. felt like a sharp stabbing sensation in my left side. Have felt really, really tired. No sore boobs or anything, though. I'm so confused.

I was 9 days late before I got my BFP. I kept getting negatives up until then! So just wait as long as you can and keep testing or go doctors for a blood test?

There's been times when my period has been 6 days late so 34 days, and I was not pregnant. I wasn't trying at the time to get pregnant and would stress out over the possibility of being pregnant, and i think my stress delayed AF

My cycle has always been pretty regular. I got off birth control in January and my period still came within a day or two of when it was expected. In July period was 9 days late which was odd since I kept getting negative tests. This month my period was again late but I didn't take a test because I figured my cycle was just messed up. Turns out this month I was actually pregnant! Finally took a test after being 10 days late and got my bfp!
