what does it mean when your all done with the interview and she says they will call if they're interested? is that bad news? when they want you to have the job, do they usually tell you right then and there that you got the job?

Not always. Sometimes they have multiple interviews lined up and wanna see everyone before making a decision. Sometimes that's a polite way if saying "were not interested". Never can tell.

I've never had someone offer me a job on the spot. They often have other candidates to interview, or at least a scheduled meeting where two or more people have to decide who to hire. My job offers all came days or weeks after the interview. Might not be true everywhere, but I wouldn't expect an offer immediately.

Yes, when I got my job I sent them a thank you email for the interview. I have not heard we will call you if we are interested in a while, but I do know that I didn't get those jobs.

Always send a thank you letter. Put it in mail the day you have the interview. It shows you are respectful and care

I've always had a call back with jobs. They interview people then if they've interviewed more than just you they have a think/chat then let u know.
