On Thursday I had my first ultrasound, sac measured 5w2d (which is what I thought I was) but the fetal pole measured 5w5d. I went back today for another ultrasound hoping to see the heartbeat but the dr said there wasn't much change since Thursday. She wasnt very optimistic. She said since we don't know when I got pregnant I could be earlier. She said that the sac grew some but the fetal pole didn't really change, could it be that the sac just needed to catch up to the baby? Maybe I'm really just 5w6d instead of 6w2d. I really don't want to lose this baby so I'm hoping that I really am just a few days earlier.she wants me to come back Friday for another ultrasound but my boyfriend suggested that I go back next week.
