My first took me no time cuz I hadn't been on bc but my second took me like a yr cuz I was coming off the depo shot. It took a long time to get things back to normal.

I'm not ttc yet but I heard that it can take up to a year for your body to regulate itself after stopping bc so I've been off for 8 mo and being careful until my wedding. I didn't even have a period for the first 3 mo and my cycles are still crazy irregular 8 mo later
