I started buying after the whole 12 week mark only to go in at 14 weeks and learn the baby had no heat beat. I say wait the extra weeks til 20 or more weeks. Just to save you heartache like I had of coming home and seeing all the stuff to know you had to go back the next day for surgery and you where no longer pregnant.

I am 11w6d and the only things I have bout so far is a couple packs of diapers, wrist rattles and baby soap. Waiting to really shop until after we find out what we are having.

I bought a couple things at 13 weeks, like a pair of booties and jacket.. Then 16-18 weeks got my basics, bath stuff, diapers, cream, etc.. When I find out gender at 23 weeks going to get crib, mattress, sheets and theme going! :)

I'm burly 4w3d and me and my so bought diapers, mittens, a pair of shoes, towel, bottles, and a stuff animal. I know it is early but we are so in love with this baby already. We are not buying blue or pink since obviously I don't know the gender but we are buying nuteral colors like brown, yellow, white :) is it bad I'm getting ahead of myself? What me and SO have in mind is buy baby things little buy little so by the time the baby is here we will have more then enough for him or her and that's not including Thales baby shower. ....
