How to tell your parents?

So I'm gonna put a shirt on my 17 month old saying "pink or blue? Either will do. Mommys  expecting #2" but what other ways is everyone telling their parents?

My mom and mother in laws bday is in October so we want to have the parents on both side over for dinner. The plan is to take a group pic with the cake and say "on the count of three say 'we're having a baby!'" And catch their reaction on camera. For the rest of the family we are telling them on thanksgiving which is in two weeks in canada. The plan there is for my husband to say grace at dinner and thank God for the baby we are going to have.
​ I'm super excited to tell lol this is our first and we're only six weeks but it's so hard to keep exciting news a secret.

I'm telling my family tomorrow going to get a baby big that says worlds best grandma and grandpa and give it to my parents with the 12 week sonogram we just had done taped to the back of the bib haha can't wait for tomorrow wish me luck

We are still ttc. But only plan is to be pregnant by Christmas! (Baby Dust) if so we all open gifts one at a time on Christmas. We plan to let our parents open all their gifts and then tell they have one more. When we give them the last gift it will be a boxed with an ultra sounds and a note that says Merry Christmas Nana and Pa..I'm

Here in South Africa we have "Ouma" risks and headache pills named "grandpa". We wrapped these up and gave them to our parents. It took them a while to get it ;)

My dad built my first baby's crib so to tell my family about #2 I wrapped up the instruction book for the crib & we said it was an early bday present. He opened it & everyone was very excited :) good luck & congrats! It will be exciting no matter how you do it!

We are waiting until after my first appointment and giving them a sonogram picture in a frame and a card that says grandma & grandpa or something like that :-)

How did it go telling your families anyone that did it with me yesterday as well. It went really well telling my family and friends everyone was so happy for me and thrilled. Right before I told everyone one of my best friends told me I was the Godmother to her baby I was so honored. It was a perfect night !!!!
