Just got off the bill, now trying. How long does it usually take to ovulate after the pill?

Question

My husband and I have decided to start trying to have our first! I ended my last pill cycle early this month. I have been doing ovulation tests everyday and I have not ovulated yet. 
​When taking the test earlier it was only the control line, now the test line is there but very faint.
​Questions:
​1. How long does it take to ovulate after stopping the pill?
​2. Does a faint test line indicate I will be ovulating soon?

I started my last period August 4th & we decided to not start the next pack and give it a go. After a month, I still hadn't had my period, and figured my body was taking its sweet time regulating. I started testing HCG twice a week starting on day 14 of my cycle just to be sure. I started charting temps on September 1st. On day 39, I got the first faintly positive pregnancy test!

​Basically,  I ovulated & got pregnant the day I started charting on day 28 of my first cycle off BCP.

I came off the pill end of june.had been on it for around 14yrs.just found out im 4 weeks pregnant. It really varies person to person

It's different for everyone so patience is key :). As you know, your body thinks it's pregnant when you're on the pill so you don't ever ovulate (even while on sugar pills). So it can take a while for your body to remember how to produce the right hormones to tell your body to release an egg. Some women ovulate right away but most take 3-6 months to regulate. Have fun and enjoy the process in the meantime!

I got pregnant my second cycle iff the pill. However, I was only on it for about 6 months...might take longer if you've been in it along time and everyone is different.
