Do you know if
IUI is contraindicated for patients with endometriosis?
My doctor did a laparoscopy and she found and treated stage 2 endo. A few days later she had me do my first IUI.
I've been reading Dr Sher's book In Vitro Fertilization: The ART of Making Babies. He says in this book that endo creates a hostile environment for the egg and that IUI isn't likely to work and patients should go to
IVF.
Have you heard of this before? What does your doctor say?
