I'm having problems getting wet while having sex after my period

I'm in my fertile window but I'm having problems getting wet while trying to have sex. I notice it's always right after my period. Last night we tried and had to stop b/c we didn't have and lube and it hurt me big time. I always want to have sex and my bf turns me on but I can't seem to get wet. Has anyone else ever had this problem?
