If your husband lied to you in order to see a female friend that he works with to take her out to lunch. What doest this mean?

I never knew I found out via FB...he broke down and told the truth. Thst outuside of work they have hung out 3 times but only sat in the car in parking lots or outside the car talking. He bought her lunch on one of these occasions, but they stood outside the car to eat it!
