Emotional abuse?

Is it emotionally abusive if everytime me and my boyfriend fight he tells me I'm mentally unstable and need pychological help? He's never calmly sat me down and talked about it. He only says it when he's trying to be nasty.

My now-ex used to do this every time we had a fight. He was very emotional abusive and manipulative and all that stuff. So yes it's emotional abuse. Get out of that hell hole

Voted yes.. I don't think it is to the degree that he is abusing you per se, but technically yes, that is emotional abuse. If it is rare, try to talk to him about it. If it is frequent, it is probably his m.o. And you should consider moving on. If that's just the way he is, that kind of treatment rarely gets better.
