Who has been on the depo shot ?

Who has been on the depo shot and has had trouble getting pregnant ? Cause I know someone that was on depo and and she can't get pregnant nomore She blames the depo . And this kind of scares me cause I've Been on it myself is this true ? .plz someone Answer.

I do not recommend the depo shot due to the fact that once you get the shot, it's in you for three months and you can't turn around after that. So any side affects, or mood swings, or anything that comes along with it is STUCK in you.

​The pill is a good choice because you can take it, and if it isn't right for your body or your emotions, you can stop, where as the depo shot you can not.

I was on depo when I was 17 for a year and a half.  I did get pregnant a few years after but miscarried. I experienced heavy weight gain from depo when I got off and that is the only negative I have experienced and that I have heard from others. I have had friends who were on depo and have had successful pregnancies. I wouldn't worry too much, if you are concerned I recommend speaking to your doctor and seeing if there are any statistics or grounds to back this up.

I've only had one shot of depo right after I had my son in June. 2013. I stopped the shot after the first time because of many side affects that were just too annoying/painful. I started getting my period in January 2014. I have been having unprotected sex for  9 months now. And still no pregnancy yet. Before I got the shot. It took me 3 months to get pregnant with my son. So 9 months is quite a lot especially with constant sex before, during, and after my ovulation times. -_- lol good luck tho! You and I are not the only ones.

I was on depo for seven years. It took me a year and a half to get my period back into full swing. It's pretty typical to take up to two years to regulate. Every woman is different though.

I was on depo for 9 years, had my last one march this year so that covered me for 12 weeks until June and didn't have any more! Since then iv had a tiny bleed for 1 day and I'm not ovulating yet, I test everyday!! Regret going on it now! Iv read some many stories and everyone is different, some can take 3 months some 2 years so don't go off your friend you may be different! I'm hoping everything is ok by 6 month mark (decide) if not il go see doctor x

I was on the depo shot. Got off of it last June and have been TTC since. No pregnancy yet :( I definitely blame the depo since I got pregnant with my 1st while on the pill. I used the depo after having her and have had several issues since.
