I just went for my first U/S at exactly 7 wks and the dr was not able to detect the heartbeat. He did not seem very concerned (as its a bit early and my dating may be wrong), but I am completely devastated. We are going again next week- but I'm afraid to be hopeful.  Has anyone experienced/ heard of this?
