Am I a bad person?

Question

So I'm 16 weeks along now, almost halfway done. And today my boyfriend, baby's father, is getting home from the military after 3 months of being away, and I'm kind of dreading it. I miss him obviously, but for some reason I'm just not too excited. I don't know why, and that makes me feel really bad. Am I a horrible person?? I feel like one.

My husband is in the army, and I find it easier when he's away a lot of the time! Got my own routine, bed times and nothing is disrupted. I think sometimes you've got to have a mentality like that to deal with them being away and working etc.. It's just the lifestyle I'm used to now.

Women are very independent, I think it's natural and common to feel that way. When my boyfriend goes hunting for the weekend, then comes home Monday morning and start making a mess, I just get so furious at him and keep asking him when he's going hunting again...I absolutely LOVE and adore him and am so happy to be having a child with him but men and women are two different breeds..and sometimes we just get comfortable in our own routine

My dad was in the military too, and would be gone 6 months sometimes. My mother was always happier and healthier when he was away. She "functioned better" without him there, even though she loved him dearly. Ur not a bad person. Ur a regular woman :)
