Pregnant with Thalassemia?

Hi ladies! I was wondering if there was anyone else on here pregnant and a beta thalassemia trait carrier. I got my bloodwork back today and getting referred to a hematologist to make sure everything is progressing fine. Just wondering if anyone else has had the weird bloodwork results I have.

Thanks ladies! I was pissed at my OB cause he and his nurse didn't believe me when I told him I have this. I had to get the test results sent over from my PCP along with prior bloodwork. Now I'm reading that I should have been referred to a hematologist from day 1! They still haven't sent the referral for a high risk pregnancy consulting doctor or the hematologist yet and it's really bugging me.

Yes, I have thay too. when I was prego with my son so long ago the doctor was worried that it might be pass down to the baby, but after my obgyn sent me to another place to get check, while in the doctor room they ask me if the father of the baby is Asian and I said no he's white, they ask me that because I am Asian.. They totally said it was a waste of my time for even going there knowing the father was white because the possibility of a baby getting it,  if both parents were Asian. Whelp I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy weighing 8 lbs 11ounce :) ...
