BFP Oct 1st! When to go to the Dr.?

The obvious answer is immediately, but I was just wondering- how soon after your BFP did you get to a doctors appointment?

I had my first appointment at six weeks but thats only because i had a MC last june & they wanted to make sure baby was ok

Your doc will have a policy in place. Mine likes no earlier than 8 weeks but I've heard many prefer to wait till 10 or later.

I had a regular gyno appointment booked already. When I got a BFP I called to see if it could be moved up as I wanted to confirm and had questions for the dr. But they would take me so kept that appointment. I will be 7 weeks.

Best to wait until 8.week. Just call your doc and make an appt.

My first appointment is set for November 10th and I'll be 10 weeks by then. My doctor won't take me any earlier unless it's an emergency..
