Maternity leave
I purchased a business from a family member. I am the only person who works there besides my mom helps me once in a while if I want to go somewhere or do something. The funds are not there to hire anyone, and the family member is not as helpful as she promised she would be. I am locked in this position for 8 more years.
So there is no maternity leave. My mom actually gets some sort of leave for immediate family having a baby, so she will work for a little while. I told her by what I am reading 3 weeks should be okay. She made a face like that was too long. My husband should also get a few weeks, but I'm not sure the details on that.
I feel like I'm locked in between a rock and a hard place here! I work 10:00-7:30 Monday- Friday, as I said it's a desk job, dealing with customers but that is all I will need to do. No lifting or anything strenuous or on my feet.
As long as everything goes as planned and I deliver naturally, when is the soonest you would think I could go back? When is the soonest you women have went back?
I can take the baby to work with me, and my husbands mother is dying to babysit. If I'm not okay being seperated that early I will take the baby with me.
What do you think :( this is really stressful.
