Ovulation Test

Hey All:

My husband and I have just began our journey of trying to get pregnant. I have an irregular period one cycle it's 27 days, the next 24, and this cycle it was 22 days. I just ended my period on Friday (Oct 3) and bought an ovulation test and began testing yesterday ( Sunday the 5th). The test I took last night had a faint Lh line. I took a second test today and there was no Lh line at all. I did test 2 hours earlier then yesterday. What can this mean? Did I already ovulate? Or was this test just faulty? Has anyone else experienced this problem?
