Birth control?

I'm not sure if I want birth control bc I'm afraid it's gonna mess up my body.  My periods are so irregular so that's one reason. The second is, I don't like wearin condoms during sex....does birth control mess with your body that much? Is it worth it? And could it mess me up if I wanted children eventually?

You have to be careful on what kind of birth control you take I've heard some bad outcomes of the pill. I use the patches and it actually has regulated my periods, I'm a heavy flow kind of person and with the patches on my blood thins out and I don't bleed out as much. My boyfriend and I have sex without condoms sometimes and so far I haven't gotten pregnant. If you got on birth control I suggest the patches but I'm not saying they're not 100% effective when it comes to preventing a pregnancy because there is still possibilities and I know they don't prevent std's either, I understand you don't like wearing condoms but it's always better to just stay on the safe side.

There are so many different types of birth control available and some people suit some more than others. My advice would be to see your doctor to discuss all the options and decide which you think will work best for you. I have always taken the pill and not had any problems but I know others who struggled with it because they kept forgetting to take it.
