Skipping sugar pills?

Okay so I went to my boyfriends ball this past weekend. I didn't want my period so I skipped my sugar pills and started a new pack. And today is my 5th day in and I have my period and I don't think I should have it... So I'm not sure what I should do? Is it normal?  I'm at a lost...

Yes, it's called break thru bleeding. Your body is a regular machine and you tried to throw it out of wack (according to your body, not me) just continue this pack for the rest of the month. It's up to you if you want to keep skipping your period/sugar pills. (I skip them but not my period, I just don't take anything that week, start the new pack like normal) if you do want to keep skipping your period you may continue to have break they bleeding for a few times. Keep in mind tbt skipping your period will use up your pill packs faster and may throw off when you next visit the doctor for more... Some insurance companies don't want to pay for annual exams if it hasn't been a full 365 days between exams.
