Telling family??

Question

Has anyone started to tell close family? My parents know and DH wants to tell his parents and for some reason I feel nervous to tell them so early! I'm 5w3d. Any thoughts? If something went wrong they would totally be supportive but I just feel nervous about telling!

We told our parents and i told my best friend but we are waiting till after my first ultrasound to tell the world

Also, having really supportive family in the event of a problem could help you cope better. I think it would be so hard to go through MC having to hide it from my loved ones, acting like I'm fine when I'm not. It would be lonely.

We told our family at 4w2d. Go  for it! Most women have completely normal pregnancies. I would only consider waiting until I'd seen the doctor if I knew I had risk factors (over 35, previous MC, etc).

My first we told a lot of people and it ended in a miscarriage. The pain of going through that again no thanks. I'm now 9weeks 1day. My parents know. My best friend and his best friend. We are waiting till 12-14 weeks. I think telling parents and best friends are fine but wait until 12 weeks to tell the whole world. Just talking from last miscarriage I woulda hated if I told the world

I've told two of my best friends and my boss guessed. I'm not telling anyone else until after the ultrasound. I've always said I didn't want kids so when I changed my mind the thought of getting my mum really excited then having to tell her something had gone wrong if it does I couldn't bare thinking about.
