Is it ever okay to flirt with someone while in a long term relationship?

This is an honest curiosity... I've been in a somewhat intense relationship for almost two years now. There are days where I can't see myself with anyone else because of what we've been through, but recently I find myself liking the attention of another person and I don't really know what to do with that or if it's even okay... opinions?

I have a very flirtatious personality. I don't even realize I'm doing it until someone say something. My husband an I have been together so long now that it's not a huge deal cause he knows I mean nothing by it. But I would never flirt intentionally.
