How long did you wait to try for a baby?

How long after getting married did you and your husband wait to try for a baby? My fiancé and I are getting married soon and I'm just curious. :)

5 years. We wanted to get our "ducks in a row" so to speak. Wanted to buy a house, settle into careers, that sort of thing.

We had our 2 yr anniversary in July, we are talking about TTC this December or next, so 2.5-3.5 years.

But, we are somewhat unusual in that we lived together for about 5 years before we got married.

I think if you've already lived together and you know how that side is, then go for it whenever you're ready because really marriage is only a sign to other people you're taken and a piece of paper (: good luck

We were living together for a year before we got married. The moment we got married we actually started trying. Before that is was if it happens it happens. 5 months after getting married found out that we were pregnant(:

We got married in February and I've been off birth control for almost a month now... So about 7 months. I'm almost 30 and he's 34 so we didn't want to wait that long.

Married for two years. I wanted to start right when we got married. He wanted to wait so we waited. Been trying next month will be 8 monthes.

Lived together for 4 years before marriage. We have been married for just over a year now and are about to start TTC.  I think it is important to have some time to yourself,  as a couple,  before babies.

Hubs and I waited two years and six months... I wanted to try since we got married but he wanted to wait :( we are going on another six months ttc with no luck... I wish we would have tried sooner ?
