Best time to use OPK

I used a digital OPK last month (First Response) and used am urine and never got a surge but I had pains and CM was egg white. So I want to try again with the Clear Blue OPK and it says use am urine but I've heard lunchtime or PM urine is better. Can you help out? IDK when to test!
