Ultrasound at 5weeks- what did you see?

Going in for my first check up with LO #2. I'm a nervous nelly and I'm really hoping to see some concrete proof that there's really a baby in there. If you had an early ultrasound, what were you able to see?

I had an early ultrasound at about 5 weeks because they thought baby was growing outside the womb but she wasn't! and all I could see was the sac

Thanks everyone for your replies! My doc opted not to do an ultrasound at my visit so I won't get to see my bean for 3 more weeks! Lol I'll just have to be patient!

5 weeks is too early to see anything really. I only saw a gestational sac. And nothing else. Went back two weeks later and could see baby and heartbeat.

My first pregnancy we saw baby and heartbeat at 8 weeks :)

It depends on how far along you are! From 6/7wks you can see the heartbeat and after the 7wk mark it get so much more exciting
