When should I test

So I tested like a week ago and I got a very very faint blue line. I even put the test on this app to see what everyone would say. 85% said it was a faint line 3 said it look like a evap line. I haven't tested since. I was waiting to see if AF would show up  and she was due yesterday and no signs of getting it. Money is tight so I hate to waste another test.
