My husband is 25 and I am 24. The doctor said are chances are very low. I didn't see a point in it because I will love this baby no matter what. That is just my personal decision. It's not wrong if you want to get it.

I don't see the point. Either way I'll love my baby n why stress my self out when the test just tells you what risk. It doesn't actually say you baby has it

I got it for peace of mind. If results weren't good, we decided that we would NOT end the pregnancy, but rather prepare ourselves for special needs. Results came back as very low risk, so we're good. I think there's value in knowing and being prepared, educated.

It won't change my mind in keeping them. It's just one more test to go along with the rest. To much for me.

I just think it's good to have a heads up, it's free, and it's an additional ultrasound to see my baby 😉

I did not get the test with my last 2 so I will not be getting it this time around. I trust my doctor and she said that if it doesn't run in your family and you are healthy there's really no need to. If it ran in my family I would have the test done tho.

I did, and i recommend it to everyone. Sorry to say this but I think it is very selfish not to do it, bring aninnocent defenseless kid into this world, and well we will all die (hopefully before our children) would you wanna leave a person who is not capable of living by himself alone in this world after you die? What's gonna happen to him? 
I think its not a good idea!
