Tattoos in the tww?

Question

What is the word on tattoos during the tww...specifically before 7 dpo? Like, there's no way to know if I'm preggo, and I would hate to cause any harm... But is there really any risk? Regardless of your PERSONAL feelings on tattoos, what's the deal? Can I go? Should I cancel?

I would (and have) gotten tattoos while TTC. Just make sure you're in a clean shop and taking good care of it. And avoid the belly/lower back area, it'll only stretch out soon ;)

I think if you are trying to conceive you should wait until after pregnancy/breast feeding. Tattoos are awesomr but there is always a chance of infection even from the most reliable, clean shop. You want to be in tip top shape :-)
