When to tell family?

I will be just entering my second trimester right around Christmas and I would love to tell them in a cute way then but I don't think I can wait that long! How long did you all wait to tell your immediate family?

I think you should tell them as soon as you're ready. I don't believe in waiting until 12 weeks to share such joyous news with your closest entourage. Plus, if something horrible does happen, having a great support group is more helpful that suffering alone, in my opinion.

I liked the advice, "If it's early in your pregnancy you should feel comfortable enough to tell those who you would want to support you through whatever symptoms / expeirences you have."

Took a test Friday told them Saturday!!! I could never wait that long with family. Close friends and family know and plan to do a Christmas card annoucement for the people we don't see all the time and prob do something on Facebook around Xmas time

Depends :) I wanted to wait till 8 weeks when I got my first ultrasound but my sister found out and snitched so I told them around 6 weeks :). I was trying to be good but I ended up liking it better because then my mom could give me advice :)

I told my mum like a week after I know and my other family members 3 weeks after I knew! A Christmas announcement would be very cute though I'd try wait :P
