Try a polyamorous relationship. Or just casually date both of them until you decide. You should tell them both of course. It used to be that everyone went on lots of dates with different people. Going steady was reserved for special relationships.

It is entirely possible for some people to truly love AND be in love with more than one person at a time. It is called polyamory, and I am one who is polyamorous by nature, not just by lifestyle choice. After all, if you can love an indefinite number of children, family members, and friends, why does romantic love have to be only one? I personally believe that our capacity to love is infinite, but that our ability to accept and handle those feelings are limited, as is our time and energy.

Only you know your own heart and feelings. While it is more common to be in lust than true love, listen to your heart and analyze those feelings. There are a lot of good resources out there on polyamory and alternative lifestyles if you look. I'm always happy to share my experiences and knowledge, if you'd like.

In my opinion with true intimate love you can only feel that towards one person. You may lust after several but when you really "love" someone no one else will matter :).  I didn't know true love till I met my husband and had my children I know that is super cliche but it's true no matter what or who has come into my life my love never wavers for my husband, there may be times that I don't like him too much but at the end of the day I wouldn't want anyone else

I  have to say I disagree. I do think it's possible to love two people at once. But unfortunately if you find yourself in that position you need to let both of them go. Because whoever you end up with you will wonder if you should be with the other. I really don't think you can be 100% happy with either. That was my experience. In my situation me and my boyfriend had split up and I really loved him, but months went on and I met someone else and fell for him. Then my ex decided he wanted me back and I did still love him too. Now I'm very happily married to neither of them ha. X

You can love two people at the same time. But i doubt either of those people are aware that they're involved in this triangle. If that's the case, you need to discuss it because it's not fair to either of them, if they're thinking they have your undivided attention and affection.

Do you love or are you in love or are you in lust?  I think it is all very complicated and difficult to sort out over the Internet. But I can tell you I will always love my ex. He is a great person and I hope nothing but the best for him. I even worry about him at times, etc. but I am not in love with him and he is not "the one". I may come across someone I crush on-- they're fun, they're funny, they're new, we have a good time-- but they're not the one and I would never truly act on those feelings. So you have to determine, as some one else said, what each means to you on a more global, long term sense. It may be tossing both because neither really are the one. But I am married and have been with him for 12 years. I have determined true love and "the one"-- ya know, like our grandparents used to have-- is a conscious choice every day. It is hard work. So who are you willing to "work for" for the rest of your life?
