It's safe to get one and being generally healthy is not keeping people from getting sick anymore. Your immune system is a tad depressed during pregnancy, so it would be wise to get one unless you absolutely cannot. You are free to make that decision though.

I did  the medical care doctors I know and have asked say to get one its the safest thing for you to build up the immunity for you and protect your baby

Okay, I'm not about to go into the whole immunization conspiracy theory thing, and I completely understand the point of immunizations, my son is immunized and everything, but, when you get flu shots and stuff don't they like put the sickness in your body so that your system can become immune to it? Like isn't that what keeps you from getting the sickness later? I don't know... I just wonder if that's the best option during pregnancy... Putting sickness into your body intentionally...
