How long were you on birth control? And if so how long did it take to get pregnant when finally off?

I was on the pill for 9 years. I went off the pill in march but wanted to give my body a few months to adjust,  have been TTC for the last 5 months. Good luck on your journey!

I was on the injection for 4 years been off it 14 months and still no period. We're now trying acupuncture to get my periods back and have been told by the acupuncturist it can be as quick as 12 weeks to get them back and I'll get pregnant very quickly after my first cycle

I had been on several birth control methods for 5-7 years and have been TTC for 15 months with no such luck! Since coming off Nuva Ring which I had been on for 5 years at least my periods have been longer and my cycles have been 35-50 days with longer periods!! ???

I was on bc for 13 yr it took 10 months ttc to get my bfp. It varies for everyone.

My friend is a nurse. She said to give yourself 2 months for every year you were on birth control. That yes it can take that long for your body to regulate after being on birth control for a long time.

12 years on alesse. Got pregnant with my son on it. Stopped in April got pregnant in may, lost it at 7w2d in July, MC completed in aug, had a chemical pregnancy this month.

I was on it for 5 years once I stopped it only took me 2 weeks but I lost that baby had a miscarriage at 6.5weeks. 2 or 3 months after I had the miscarriage I'm pregnant again now 7 weeks 5 days

I was on the pill for 3.5 years and I stopped it around May of this year and got pregnant in late August to early September. But I hear it can be very different depending on the woman and the birth control used.
