Is it wrong to want the know the sex of the baby after a miscarriage?

I just felt like mine was a girl. I still think it was. But I couldn't handle knowing for sure. It would make the loss even more real and hard than it already is. I don't think it's wrong to want to know though. We all cope in different ways and find different things comforting.

I couldnt find out the sex of my baby, but i call him a "him" because i hate calling him an "it".

I miscarried before I could find out. It started Friday night, ended Monday night. I had the ultrasound scheduled for the next day. So I never got to see my baby, or know the gender. If I had the ultrasound before, I would have gone to the doctor or someone to find out.

I believed it allowed me closure. With our first miscarriage we had a d n c so they told us the sex. Second I just know we miscarried twins and it breaks my heart that I don't know their sex.

I wish I would have had the chance to know. I had a natural mc and didn't even see my baby. I have a lot of regrets from mine but it happened so fast I had no choice. Prayers for all you ladies.

My husband doesn't want to find out but I did so I had my doctor send it to be tested

I gave birth to my baby boy at 16 weeks when he were born we found out its a boy but from the start we always said him not her or it so i think our mommy instincts jus know😭😭😭

My baby girls heart stopped at 9 weeks. I didn't find out until I was 11 weeks. I had a D&C the next day and had everything sent to be tested. All the results were normal (which to me, is a double edged sword) but I did ask if she knew the sex and she said it was a girl! I had been hoping from day 1 that it would be a girl.

I found out when I miscarried at 10 weeks 4 years ago, since it was my second miscarriage the dr wanted to send everything out for testing. I had no idea they were going to tell me what it was and they were like well it was a healthy boy and I burst out into tears because I didn't expect it. I think it made it much harder to move on knowing the sex. I wouldn't recommend finding out unless you are farther along.

I wish I was able to find out too. I didn't have a d & c so I wasn't able to find out. It's my one regret.
