Is coffee okay for baby? I've heard opinions of yes and no. I haven't drank coffee since I found out. Today I feel the need for coffee? Safe or unsafe in your opinion?

You can have up to two cups of caffeine per day. Be in mind that caffeine is in a lot of things: coffee, tea, cocoa and other beverages. Good luck!

My old OB/GYN said shed rather see me drink a regular cup of coffee than see me drink anything that's been decaffienated. That's because they decaffienate with solvents. She said It's okay to have a cup of coffee a day but not to exceed that.

I drink a lot of caffeinated soda and have eaten a lot of chocolate throughout my entire pregnancy I'm 34 weeks now. I've read that caffeine is bad but I've never understood how ? Now I'm worried ?

1-2 cups (or 200 mg max) of caffeine is fine. I never give up my coffee, I just watch my caffeine intake and drink a lot of water each day. Have cup o' joe!

Excess caffiene can lead to early births and/or low birth weights. But the concencus is that 200 mg of coffee is 100% safe. That works out to 1-2 cups of coffee per day, or if youre a starbucks drinker 1 shot of expresso has about 150 mg :)

I've read that you can have 200mg caffeine a day , which I think is 2-3 cups of coffee. I still allow myself 1 cup of coffee a day:-)
