Do you think people are completely ignorant when it comes to the negatives of marajuana usage?

I don't have any problem with weed being legal but I think supporters are so determined to make it legal they ignore and under play the negative side effects. I know there are many benefits to smoking weed/edibles but there are still the negative side effects! It is still a drug! People can still overuse and abuse it!

The stigma on marijuana is rediculous. "Reefer Madness" and The War on Drugs is rediculous. People would realize how beneficial the plant is if they actually educated themselves. I quit drinking back in May (go me!) and I feel great. I never  get sick or hungover from weed. Weed CAN'T kill you. It should be legalized and regulated ?

What negative side effects? If you can't handle your weed and balance your life then it's just not for you. But it doesn't actually harm you, that's the gov't using scare tactics to prevent people from using. The only reason it's banned in the first place is because the gov't can't make any money off of it, because people can get it themselves. It would 800+ joints to kill a person, and it would be from carbon monoxide poisoning, not the weed itself. 800. In a row. At once.

I smoke weed and I have a job and I'm in school. Tbh people always OVER REACT when it comes to the use of  weed. If you look up weed cases you never really see nobody dying from weed or going completely crazy. We have cigarettes, alcohol and crack! Those things kill people and they have shown a study that those 3 things kill more then weed do. I do not understand why it's a big deal. If you don't smoke weed just leave the people that do along were not hurting nobody!

I believe life is a balancing act. Anything and everything can be harmful if abused. What we need to do is focus less on the pros and cons of substances and more on people's self-control.

I'm down for weed, but I must admit it has some negatives. 
It can seriously mess up your emotions. My bestfriend is dependent on weed. She tells me she wakes up everyday and hits a blunt, even before she goes pee. If not, she feels depressed and hopeless.

My stepdad however, smokes multiple blunts a day and is the jolliest man ever. When he was drug free and in the military, he was very depressed, moody, angry and abusive towards my mom and I. Now he's happy and calm, it takes a lot to get him upset now. I'm glad he smokes. He's happy at work, he has productive hobbies, and my mother is a lot happier.

You have to remember that everyone reacts differently - and honestly, if alcohol and cigarettes are legal, why isn't marijuana?

Its mind over matter I think people get addicted to things because they allow themselves into thinking that... marijuana wasn't just created people have their own beliefs of this plant and it is a plant...its proper use is to boil and brew the leaves and drink it as a tea.. Weed..canibus..sensimilia ganja heals all...its stimulants has been abuse a spliff a day keeps the cold away lol ... Drinking as a tea helps more proficiently... Its good for people with asthma good for pains eyes ....in my country I grew up with this planted all around me its natural

Ppl can overuse and abuse almost anything. Such as makeup. Ppl can have an unhealthy addiction to makeup. Do makeup companies have warnings. Is it on the news or in commercials.  Everyone knows the positive and negatives where marajuana is concerned. The ppl who are for legalizing it make the positive known and the ppl against legalizing it make the negative known. This isn't a new issue. It's been a major thing for some time now. But to call ppl ignorant bc.......... What they support it? No one is forcing you to do it.
