TTC teen?

Hey ladies, i was on Instagram and I come across these "teen TTC" pages and it's so shocking how these young girls are actually trying! I always see them say "there stable, have a car & job" I saw one "TTC teen" say she is 14 and mentally and physically prepared and has lived her life with drugs and alcohol and over that "phase" how many women think it's shocking that teens are trying to conceive so young?

I think the girls who do this are just starving for love and attention. They see a baby as someone who will love them unconditionally, forever. It's really sad. And not fair to those poor babies born to an irresponsible little girl.

I'm just under 21 and my partner is 23 and we're young ttc! I can't imagine actually trying younger! Especially when they're still in school etc. we've finished education, have good jobs and live together, I wouldn't even think to try earlier!

You dont even have a drivers license at 14.  You dont need a baby

I'm 21 & my partner is 23. I got pregnant when I was 19 so my lo is 16 months old now but we wasn't trying. We have our own house, car, both have jobs & more than enough money we need, go on holidays ever year, don't go out that much anymore etc. I'm not against young mums if they are still with the partner, have a place to live & a job to support the child with. (14 is still too young though!) I think 18 is the youngest people should consider it but even at 18 id like to get some of my partying out the way first hahah :) 
when I was 15 I wanted a child sooo bad as i was in love with a boy a few years older than me, he cheated on me etc but I was so in love with him I'd do anything for him, one of my best friends accused him of raping her and now they are with each other now. Makes me so glad I never got pregnant, I still had my whole life ahead of me and definitely was not ready! Wouldn't want him to be the dad to my kids either xx

The level of mental preparedness, life experience, responsibility, self-discipline, and maturity it takes to properly care for an infant doesn't lie within a teenager or really anyone who doesn't have their own place to live, their own job, and has spent a few years figuring out what they want out of life as an adult.

Every teenager wants the freedom of choice that every 20-something year old has and every late 20-something year old can look back on their teeage years and tell you how different they are and how naive they were as a teenager.

Having a baby is no exception to this. Almost every teenage mom will tell you they wish they waited.

I'm 17 and 28 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my first. We weren't trying though! I think 17 is too young, but 14?! That's crazy. No, I don't think 14 year old should be trying to conceive!

Every woman I've known that had a baby at 14-15 missed out on so much of their own life that it literally took away a lot of their children's lives, granted I only know like 5, one being MY MOTHER, hence why we started trying at 33! It's too flippin young!!!

I was 15 when I got pregnant with my son.  I was terrified and put myself into a bad position with the father because I didn't want to be alone.  It was so hard.  I had a lot of help from friends and family on babysitting so I could go to school.  I lived with my mom until I was 21 because I didn't want to get any welfare assistance.  I went to college, graduated, fell in love with an amazing man, bought a house, had our second child, got married, and now we are expecting our third.  It was hard but we did it.  My son is now a 5th grader, on the honor roll, and in the gifted program at school.  It's never ideal to have kids while you are not stable at any age.  Being a teen you are still developing and growing.
