Recommended belly cream/oils?

Question

5 months pregnant and have started to itch! Mainly my nipples and  sometimes my belly too. I've been using the palmers oil for quite some time but doesn't seem to be easing too much.

Any recommendations? 
I've heard pure organic coconut oil works wonders, any opinions would be appreciated!

Also would love something readily available in Canada ?

The only thing that stopped the itching for me was the burts bees  tummy butter lotion bar. It stayed on longer because it was in the bar form. Everything else wore off too fast. Yes, I still got stretch marks anyway but at least it stopped the itching.

I too use palmers oil, so far it seems to be working. Keeping in mind, my grandma, mom and sister never got stretch marks during pregnancy. I have heard a lot of it it genetic. I will start using the palmers belly butter too in addition to the oil, to give ultimate moisture. As for nipples.. Mine are so itchy! I use an organic aloe/rose hip lotion and it works amazingly:)

This one works really well, again constant hydration of the skin with water & cream is key. If ur skin is dry to the touch ur at risk for making new ones. It needs to be soft & moist so applying multiple times a day is key. The jar is a pretty good size so lasts a little while & is thick so u can make it go a long way if ur good about ur application. Otherwise palmers "tummy butter" in the jar that is a "paste" kind of really works well too. In both my previous pregnancies I only got mark where I didn't apply it or simply where my skin rubbed on like my outer hips from clothes, bed, etc and I was too lazy to put more on.

My husband is a dermatologist, I also do some work with him as a nurse when I'm not home w/the kids. I hate to tell u this bc I hate stretch marks too, but if u are already itchy & especially if uve been scratching u already have/are getting them & it's too late. Once u get them u really can't get rid of them, only improve the way they look. The key is to prevent them from the start & to start now to prevent from getting any more than u already are. You need to keep ur skin moisturizer, LOTS of water & LOTS of deep penetration & hydrating lotion multiple times a day.

Try organic almond oil. Some people have issues with coconut oil making them itchy and shea butter can be acnegenic. (Though worth giving a try, coconut oil is so useful you can literally do just about anything with it!)
