Can needing a poo cause lower abdominal pain? It's more like a ache tenderness in lower abdomen. I've tried going to the toilet but can't do anything.

I'm 16 wks on Saturday.

drink lots of water. It will help get things moving.

Try increasing your fiber intake. Also increase your greens (spinach, kale, callaloo etc).  This will make passing stool a lot easier :)
