How long after your opk surge do bd?

It's my first month using a opk. How many days after your surge do you bd ? I got my clear positive yesterday morning, how long is my window open for?

After a positive is detected you will ovulate in the next 12 to 36 hours so you can bd right away.

It helps if you are temping to BD the day of your positive OPK through the day of your thermal shift.  Once your temp goes up you can confirm you have ovulated and take a break.  ;)

Thanks ladies ! We did the deed twice before, once on the day, and will go for it tonight. When ppl say ttc is the fun part obviously hasn't been at it for too long! As great as it is ... I hate when sex is so calculated and purposeful. When you want a baby so badly it's tough to just "have fun "!

Its usually 2 days before ovulation i think but just to be on the safe side id bd for thr next couple days
