Has anyone had an hsg test?

I am looking into getting the genetic testing done and this is one thing on there I saw I will have to do and wantednmemtry I know if anyone would share what I am about to experience? thanks ladies!

I had my HSG last month. It was a little uncomfortable, when they inserted a long very thin tube into your cervix. Its all over pretty quickly. I would say take some ibuprofen before hand. You will have a little spotting.

An HSG test is when dye is injected into your uterus to see if your tubes are open. It's uncomfortable but only takes a few minutes.

I had one a few years ago. I thought it was pretty painful but both of my tubes were blocked so I think it hurt worse because the dye had no where to do. It's over very quickly and I had no pain or spotting afterwards.
