Epidural vs Natural : What are you planning?

With the birth of my daughter, I had an epidural. When I got to the hospital, I was dilated to a 7.I wasn't in any pain, but knew that my time was running out to make the choice.

It did slow my birthing process down, (12 hours total labor) but I was able to enjoy the experience. I didn't have any pain, and I was very comfortable.

I had my first in the hospital, induced with an epidural. Worst decision of my life. It was a horrible experience but thankfully I still ended up with a healthy baby.

My second was a completely natural home birth. It was amazing! It lasted only a couple hours (compared to the 15.5 hours of my first) and wasn't even remotely as painful as I expected. Best part was I wasn't separated from my baby for even a second. I even got to deliver him once his shoulders were through, and was able to nurse  him for 40 minutes before I cut the cord. It was nice and relaxed the whole time.

I'm now 22 weeks along with my 3rd and am excited to have been cleared for another home birth:)

I deliver both my girls without an epidural, but with my first she was almost out I asked for it but it was late lol, oh well it was my first time didnt know crap lol
