When not to have sex??

I'm on the NuvaRing right now. I'm thinking about having sex with my boyfriend soon. But how do I know when the right time is? What part of your cycle should you have sex to NOT get pregnant?? I'm 20, just never quite got the hang of how cycle's works. :/

If you use your birth control with "perfect use" ie in for 3 weeks, out for 1, then inserting a new ring on the day you're supposed to, once you have worn it for a full cycle you are protected. You generally only need to use backup protection(condom) during the first month of use.

Well, i just know that cuz of the NuvaRing you take it out for 6 days, do you go straight back to being safe?

My calendar doesnt have the fertal days. Just the period days. :/

With birth control it tricks your body into thinking its already pregnant. So with birth control you can have sex whenever.

The point of birth control is that you can have sex whenever you'd like and not get preggers. But if your super scared. Your calander highlights it in red when you are most fertile. Don't do it on those days. But if your on birth control. You don't have to worry really
