Have your ear piercings ever closed?

I first had my ears pierced in 5th grade, they closed up after a few months and I had them pierced again in 8th grade. I'm now in 12th and I recently noticed they closed again. Does this ever happen to y'all and how the heck can I keep them pierced? Thanks!

I wear earrings daily. Take them off at night and put them back on in the morning. That's how I keep mine from closing.

I haven't worn earrings in probably 6 months. I just put one through to see if they closed, but nope. Sometimes the back of my ear lobe where the piercing is gets a little tiny bit, but I just push it through slowly & works just fine

It hasn't happened to me but has to my best friend. Wearing earrings regularly is really the only way to keep them open. I probably wear earrings 3 times a week so mine don't have enough time to close.

I shoved earrings through slightly closed over ones once. One bled a little but then it was fine. I have never had issues though. I wear studs on the days I'm not wearing bigger earrings so they don't have any issues.

I've had my ears pierced since I was a baby. I never wear earrings anymore but if I randomly decide to wear some they'll still go through! I'm surprised the never closed up, but it's not surprising since I've had them pierced for so long!
