we got a bassinet very similar to this one for my daughter and I think its adorable! and has a lot of soothing things (music, swaying, etc) plus having them in the room with you for the first few months makes breastfeeding easier (if you plan to do that) plus reduces risk of SIDS. so i would say go for it:)

Saw this on pintrest it's a crib so you can use it as a coal weeper until you are ready for them to go to the crib in their own room.

We're getting the co-sleeper that sits up against the bed too. I don't want the bed one in case our son gets sick and needs to sleep with us. We have a king, but I hate being cramped.

We had a very similar one and ended up co-sleeping because otherwise we couldn't sleep.... This time I want to try a cosleeper either the kind that looks like a crib that goes right up next to the bed, or the kind that sits in the middle of your bed. It seemed like every time I put my son down in the bassinet he woke up. But I think almost everyone goes through this, so idk just saying.
