What do you call your tree?

I really just want to share a pic of our Christmas tree, I think it's so pretty and the first Christmas in 3 years I get to share with my husband!!!! (Dang military!)

So what do yall call your tree, since I know a bunch of yall don't believe in a Christ centered Christmas.

I don't equate Christmas with religion, but rather a holiday for family.  We call it a Christmas tree.

What does the tree represent to christians? I thought it was just a marketing thing like santa.

We are atheist, but we still like Christmas and it's traditions of family, giving, thankfulness, and fun! :) We have a "Christmas" tree. We attend church with my mom on Christmas eve to make her happy and don't argue when she tells religious stories to my daughter (even though I do think it's a little disrespectful) -- she's grandma and, thus, gets that leeway. My daughter will make her own decisions on what she believes throughout her life.

In Russia it's customary to have trees, but they are to celebrate the new year. Therefore my tree has always been a New Years tree. Now that I'm married and my husband grew up celebrating Christmas, we call it both. Your tree is beautiful by the way!!! So many gifts already!!!

My family was non religious all my life and we celebrate Christmas with all the works. I am now pagan and still carry on our Christmas traditions. Silent night is one of my favorite songs and the nativity scene is beautiful. This anti christmas attack is not because of non believers or even pagans.

I was raised a Jehovah's Witness, so I never celebrated holidays until I started dating my (now) husband in 2006. I don't have any fond memories of these times, in fact, I'd venture to say I have quite a few bitter memories instead. It's been a hard adjustment for me and though I still don't enjoy the holidays and can't seem to get in the spirit of them I intend to leave my children with amazing memories and traditions of these times. I love seeing my husband's family anytime, so that part I enjoy very much. And being an atheist I still call it a Christmas Tree.
