Contractions ?

Question

So I've heard contractions feel like period cramps ( somewhat ) but I only get them on my thighs when I have cramps ? Anybody had period cramps on there thighs and contractions there also ?

Most women will tell you that instead of a sharp, singular pain, menstrual cramps feel more like a dull soreness. “That’s because, like the bladder and arteries, the uterus is a smooth muscle,” says Christine Y. Ko, MD, a general practitioner in San Diego. “Unlike with the striated, skeletal muscles in your leg, when your uterus contracts you’ll feel more of an undefined, deep ache.”

Dang, I wish contractions had felt like period cramps! They feel like nothing you can describe. People say you forget what it felt like to be in labor. It's been almost 5 years since I've had my son and I don't think I'll ever forget that feeling. But! I'm still trying to have another baby. So, it's worth it at least! :)

It is at first for many but your contractions will be your uterus contracting really strong. So while it can be like the worst period ever it will get much more intense. Yes you may have your leg cramping in labor I've had clients with that in labor

At first it feels like period cramps. And then all i remember was the pain going straight to my ass. Like if someone was pulling all of my insides from my ass. Excruciating pain!
