I'm starting to freak!

Ok. So I got bfp and then started spotting so tested again and bfn. Started spotting again this morning so went to the ER. Dr said was fine. Did a Doppler and listened to heartbeat. Was 143. Said everything looked fine and blood showed I'm about 5 wks along. I was ecstatic! Talked to my best friend and she said the same thing happened to her right before she had her mc. Spotting has stopped but I'm still scared. Does this sound right to anyone or should I be worried? Please help ladies. I really am freaking out!!!
