BFP but bad cramps. Normal?!

Question

I just got a BFP 5 days after AF due (on day AF was due I got a BFN so VERY shocked and surprised!!)

However, I'm having pretty bad cramps and have been for past few days. No bleeding, just feel like AF cramps. Is this normal?

I had a chemical pregnancy 5 months ago so willing this one to stick. Argh!

Hi! Congrats:) I got my BFP on 12/11 and also have been having lots of cramps. Nothing too "ouch", but crampy nonetheless! I've been researching it and most of what I have read says its normal unless it's accompanied by bleeding or is very painful.

You're not alone! I'm having them too! I got my bfp yesterday morning. I've been cramping since before af was supposed to come. I guess it's normal. Dehydration could be causing it or just your uterus expanding.

Yes, very normal! Baby is just growing, stretching out your uterus ☺ if it becomes worse than af cramps, or you get blood with it, call your doc, but most of the time it's nothing to worry about ☺
