Pets knowing you're pregnant?

I am currently 11.6 and my german shepherd HAS to be right next to me. Crying outside the bathroom door of i don't let her in! But trying to sit on my lap if I do ?. It's totally adorable.

Mine has to be laying on me at all times and he freaks out if I leave without him

My cat hates me (only loves hubby, who raised her from 4 wks and bottle fed her) and she lay down beside me, put her paws on my belly, and kneaded it! Couldn't believe it!

My dog is always by my side 24/7. But now that I'm pregnant he always wants to put his head on my belly. So cute!

My cat that couldn't care less about our existence aside from feeding him comes to snuggle now, out of character for him. My Great Dane puppy (little over a year old) is a lot calmer around me, he still rough houses with my husband but knows not to be rough around me. I haven't changed anything as far as disciplining him or having him stop behavior, he did it on his own. He also doesn't try to sit in my lap anymore, he sets his head in my lap.

I've seen so many people say how their animals have changed. My dogs are always under me so i haven't been able to tell if they can sense it or not, they just don't act any differently. And I was looking forward to seeing how they reacted. But my dad's dog constantly sniffs my stomach which she did to my stepmom when she was pregnant.

My first 4 kids we had a jack Russell and he knew before I knew I was pregnant... Wouldn't leave my side ever... Then once baby's came, he was by their sides and became their best friend. Sadly he's passed and I don't have a furry little protector this time around.
My friends pitty knew too, and I can't pry that dog from sitting on my feet when I go over there. Love it!

My pitbull won't leave my side 90% of the time I'm okay with it. But sometimes I just want my space. 10 weeks tomorrow and hope she gets a little less distant once morning sickness gets a little better.
