Late period

It's been a while since me and my boyfriend had sex. We always have use the withdrawal method. But I'm 5 days late on my period. My breast have been sore for about 2 weeks. It's very uncomfortable to lay on my stomach. I took a test and it came back negative. Is it still possible to be preggo???
